Trainer: Daniel Kennedy

Hi, I'm Daniel

I've been training since I was 18 - so that's more than 30 years. During that time, I've tried most sports, exercises and diets - and learnt much over that time to understand what's real and workable and what's not.

And, as I've got older, I appreciate the value of training, keeping fit and fuelling myself with the right nutrition that keeps me as mobile, in shape and feeling good. In recent years, I've taken that to a professional level, as a recognised Level 2 Fitness Coach and Level 3 Personal Trainer. I've also recently passed my TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Nutrition & Health, so I'm well-placed to be able to offer fitness and nutritional advice and direction.

I offer a range of training, from more cardio-based fitness focused such as circuits and High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) to more strength and conditioning through resistance or weight training as it's also known; this is my passion to be able to sculpt and shape your body to the shape and form you want - it takes hard work and dedication and I don't care what anyone says, but if you love what you see in the mirror, it boosts your confidence and feeling good about yourself no end. In my experience, whilst they may not have wanted to do it, no one ever regretted a workout!

I specialise in working with people like me: over 50, keen to be in the best shape they can be, prepared to listen to experienced, direct, sage advice, but also like to enjoy life and what it has to offer. I believe in positive encouragement, being honest (and sometimes dishing out some tough love!) but working with people to get them where they want to go - I get a real buzz from seeing the development and successes of those I work with.
